View “Watercolor Dream Homes” Painted by 5th Grade Students in The Meadows at Historic Castle Rock™ |
|
CASTLE ROCK – What’s your idea of a “Dream Home?” Village Homes recently asked fifth grade students from Paula Donley’s class at Meadowview Elementary School in The Meadows at Historic Castle Rock™ to paint their “picture perfect dream home.” Village Homes donated supplies, including watercolor paint, and about 70 excited students gleefully tackled the project.
Visitors to the Watercolor neighborhood at this master-planned community can view these paintings on display today in the basement of the beautiful Santa Clara model home. Visitors have voted on their favorite paintings throughout January, and the winning student will receive a $100 savings bond towards his or her college education. Don’t miss this artistic display while shopping for your dream home at Watercolor. “These fifth grade students are very creative and the paintings on display today will add a fun-filled twist to your home shopping experience at Watercolor,” said Natasha Nola, Village Homes Community Manager at Watercolor. “The final chance to view these paintings is this weekend. The winning students will have their picture taken and framed and placed in one of our model homes. But if you miss the display today, we have asked Soaring Hawk Elementary School to participate in a similar event, and these paintings will be displayed through the month of February. Please stop by and see these beautiful paintings from some very talented young artists and vote for your favorite. We will have light refreshments for you to enjoy before viewing the paintings and touring our decorated showhomes.” Watercolor in The Meadows at Historic Castle Rock™ features the versatile Haven Collection of single-family homes base priced from the $330s to the $360s.
