Stargazer Observatory
100 Footnotes
What’s out there is right here. Stargazer Observatory has been said to close the gap between earth and outer space, by letting exploration of the outer limits through a real, working observatory. The cooperation of Village Homes and Front Range Community College made Stargazer Observatory possible, and used for college courses, and made available to homeowners of Observatory Village during special “open house” hours. Such events will be brought to life through a 14” telescope (Celestron C-14 Optical Tube Assembly) and a Bisque Paramount ME mounting system. Both are computerized to track the night sky.
Stargazer Observatory also features a CCD camera that can take high-resolution pictures of the discoveries made. The observatory also houses a clubhouse and kitchen, situated next to the community pools.
