At Village Homes, every home we build is BUILT GREEN.
For you, that means Saving Natural Resources
Recycled Composite Deck*
It is UV-resistant, very durable and
virtually maintenance-free, so resources
are saved both in the production and
during the life of the deck.
The decks of our Built Green homes
are made from recycled grocery bags,
plastic wrap and waste wood!

Engineered Lumber
Engineered wood products use smaller,
younger trees and parts of the tree that
were not previously used. This avoids the
use of larger, older trees that are found
in disappearing old growth forests.
Much of the wood used in these homes
came from "Engineered Wood."
Water Conservation
Taking advantage of technological
advances to eliminate waste and
reduce the need for water leads to
greater water conservation.
Water is a non-renewable resource;
water restricting faucets help
homeowners conserve water.
Blown-In Cellulose*
Recycled newspapers make excellent insulation, and because it's blown-in, it acts as a sound barrier too!
Instead of ending up in a landfill, many recycled newspspers were used in our homes - behind the walls and in the attic.

Fiberglass Exterior Door
Fiberglass doors reduce the
need for wood products,
and have a higher R-value
than wood.
Fiberglass doors are highly
durable and require
virtually no maintenance.
